"Fate's Crossroads" includes two sub-entries of UE VFX: "Door Of Sanctuary" and "Domi's Death". After Lea makes the choice to steal Domi's power, she escapes from the "Door Of Sanctuary." Domi, using his last bit of power, tries to awaken the true self within Lea before dying from depleted magic. "Door Of Sanctuary" showcases the magical gate effects at the exit of the Sanctuary. "Domi's Death" illustrates Domi transforming into a shooting star upon his death.
In the first half of 2022, I finalized the visual style of the VFX to be used in my personal animated short film “Dash Purple & Fire Spider” through two effect tests in UE: “Door Of Sanctuary” and “Domi's Death”.
